IFC – SC have been invited by RS Sports Vision to facilitate and implement a 5 year blue print program for rugby and football. The program will commence with the Sports Summit and carnival in February 2018.

The Ministry of Sports, have proposed a 5-year strategy for sport development which will set the direction for sport until the year 2021. It marks a new era for sport in Sri Lanka. As a Nation, Sri Lanka is poised for a brighter and more sustainable future. A shifting of the gears to a more progressive, inclusive and proud nation that celebrates its heritage and diversity.
In the theatre of dreams called Sport this means a change in the rules of the game, a more level playing field for all, innovative strategies for sustainable sports development, effective application of sports knowledge and most importantly inclusiveness for all.
The world of sport changes at a fast pace and the Nation must leverage on expertise from around the world and Sri Lankans own home grown of experts to lead and guide the Nation towards a new era for sport.
